I am staff engineer in Appier, where I have been worked on retargeting system in the beginning, and become tech lead from 2017-Q4 and main developer in SRE team from 2021-Q4. My background is computer science, and have master degree in National Tsing Hua University.

In Appier, I have been learning prioritization, and using novel technologies like Kubernetes, Argo, Flink, to solve critical business problems with high resource constraints due to fast growing from series A to IPO. I also learn how to cooperate with people around the world via asynchronous communication as Debian Developer.

Design and implement GitOps platform, Common Application Platform Operation Orchestrator:
- Manage 1k+ applications CD processes across 9 more teams via Argo CD, and Go template.
- Provide standardized CI via Argo Workflows.
- Provide observability via auto Grafana dashboard, and OpenTelemetry infrastructure.
- Enforce infrastructure best practice via GateKeeper/Open Policy Agent.
Design and implement Retargeting pipeline:
- Design and implement near real-time (< 5s), high throughput (avg 50K, max 1.7M QPS) stateful rule based matching for user behaviors retargeting via Apache Flink.
- Reduce 20% ~ 50% of cost in various components via Kubernetes, autoscaling, and spot VM.
- Provide strategic advantage over competitors in iOS 14 IDFA-less privacy enhancement by low latency (P50 ~ 300ms) user id mapping via Apache Flink.

- Migrate near real-time pipeline, with 20+ apps, from AWS to GCP on the fly in 2 weeks.
- Workaround bloom filter false positive issue to make 60% revenue customer profitable in 3 days.
